being analytical
gives me a headache
Newspapers rustle
A soft sound of things stirring
at the library
I see a woman
sitting in the library
She does not see me
A full-length plaid coat
covers the back of her chair
She reads magazines
Beginning is bold
The end justifies the means
and thus, is my aim
A haiku should share a moment of awareness with the reader.
